About this project
BenefitCash Canada is a polished mockup created to raise awareness about the underground market for converting Canadian group health benefits into cash. No such legal service exists. The site exists to expose how easily Canadians — particularly newcomers — can be recruited into a scheme that costs the country over $1B per year and carries serious legal consequences.
Privacy & data handling
We deliberately do not collect SIN, date of birth, or banking details. Form submissions are stored in a private database accessible only to the awareness team for aggregate research. Submissions will never be shared with employers or insurers. To request immediate deletion of your record, email privacy@benefitcash-awareness.ca.
Communities targeted
Real fraud rings disproportionately recruit newcomers to Canada and shift workers in healthcare, construction, and service industries. This site exists to interrupt that recruitment funnel by demonstrating how convincing a fake offer can look — and what the real consequences are.
